She wrote about how her daughter was born by C-section on Instagram on November 2. “After many, many hours of labor, I had to have a C-section to have my baby girl. There were a few problems, and she didn’t want to come out on her own.”
Chanel told Us Weekly on Tuesday, November 8, in an exclusive interview, that the day her daughter was born was the scariest and most difficult day of her life. Bowie Breeze Fenison was born at 10:22 a.m. on November 2 and weighed 7 pounds and 10 ounces.
Chanel told us that her child is healthy and very happy. “Her dad and I think she’s perfect in every way, and we’re so glad she’s in our lives.”
The star said she had “never felt love like this” and that her daughter was “the best thing that ever happened to me.” She ended by telling Dom that he gave me “the best gift” and that he was already “such a great dad.”
Chanel said it was “by far” the scariest and most rewarding day of her life. The new mom is glad to be “happy and healthy” at home with her baby, even though she had a high-risk pregnancy and a hard delivery.
This summer, E! News was the first to report that Chanel and Dom were going to have their first child. She said she was “just praying for a happy, healthy kid” even though she didn’t know what the baby’s gender was yet.
Chanel Announced Her Pregnancy At The June MTV Awards
Chanel proudly showed off her growing baby bump on the red carpet at the MTV Movie & TV Awards in June to announce her first pregnancy.
“I’m not sure if it will be a boy or a girl yet. Just pray for the baby’s happiness and health. “I’m just really excited for this next step in my life,” she told E! News at the time. “This is probably the scariest trip I’ve taken so far, but sometimes scary roads lead to the best endings.”
Chanel said that her first trimester was hard because she felt sick a lot, but she praised her boyfriend for being such a good support system during her pregnancy.
“Dom is definitely the most level-headed person I’ve ever met,” she told the outlet. “Raising kids is hard, so if you want to be a good dad, you have to be like that. He’s just so easygoing and calm, while I can be a bit more crazy. I think he’s just right for me in every way.”
The musician talked about the highs and lows of being pregnant before Bowie was born.
Chanel told E! in October, “When you get really, really big, it’s not easy.”
My face is getting a little puffy. When people were taking pictures, I said, “Hey, can you raise that a little bit so we don’t have a double chin?” But I also saw how beautiful pregnancy is.”
