Final Fantasy VII Remake Coming To Steam Today

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is set to be released on yet another platform. Final Fantasy VII: Intergrade will be released on yet another platform very soon. Square Enix has announced that the game, as well as the extra episode involving Yuffie (dubbed Intergrade), are going to Steam on June 17th. The Steam version on Intergrade will, according to the developer, be compatible with the Steam Deck.

On April 10th, 2020, the game was released on PlayStation 4 after a protracted development cycle. My colleague Andrew Webster believed it was a thrilling, smart remake of the classic RPG, so the wait was well worth it. In June 2021, Square Enix launched the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade bundle, which included PS5 performance upgrades and additional story content.

In December 2021, it was released on PC via the Epic Games Store, but soon, playing the game on Steam Deck will be simple, and FF7R should be a wonderful fit for portable play.

“Thank you to all of our Steam users who have been waiting, but it is finally here,” Square Enix producer Yoshinori Kitase said, adding, “we hope this provides an opportunity for even more gamers to enjoy the game.”
