Former Miss Brazil Gleycy Correia Dead At 27

Gleycy Correia, who was crowned Miss United Continents Brazil in 2018, died at the age of 27, according to a message that shared on her Instagram Story on June 20.

The former Miss Brazil died on Monday, June 20, at a private clinic after having a tonsillectomy and experiencing a serious hemorrhage and heart attack. It includes the surgical removal of the tonsils. The southeast Brazilian city of Macae native Correia spent two months in a coma after being put there in April. To ascertain the precise cause of death, the Forensic Medicine Institute of Macae will perform an autopsy on her body. Correia’s funeral took place on Tuesday at 11:30 a.m.

Lidiane Alves Oliviera, the family priest, asserts that the 27-year-old model and influencer was healthy for at least five days after the treatment before having a hemorrhage at home. “She had tonsil removal surgery, and five days after coming home, she had a bleed,” Olivera exclaimed. When she arrived at Unimed, her heart collapsed on April 4. Since then, she has been in a coma with no neurological activity. Today, she passed away.

Pastor Jak Abreu, a close friend of the Correia family, claims that the relatives are certain that some medical misconduct played a role in this discovery. God choose this day to bring our princess home, the pastor said. Although she will be greatly missed, her grin will now be shining in the sky. I sincerely appreciate everyone who prayed. Throughout these days, may the Lord hear and grant each and every prayer made in love. She succeeded in her mission and left us with a lovely legacy. In order for the Holy Spirit to comfort the family and friends at this terrible time, please remember them in your prayers.
