Post Malone, whose real name is Austin Richard Post, is well-known for his rapping and compositional prowess. The musician is currently generating a sensation for reasons unrelated to his music. He revealed that he now had a fiancée and a child.
Last month, the rapper and his fiancée welcomed their first child, a daughter.
The “Circles” singer shared the happy news on Monday’s edition of Sirius XM’s The Howard Stern Show, where he also announced that his longtime girlfriend, whom he hasn’t publicly recognized, is now his fiancée. He hinted at his new status as a father when he informed Stern that he “kissed” his “baby girl” before heading to the studio.
“But hasn’t that been on the QT [quiet]? We had no idea you had a daughter, did we?” Stern enquired of the musician, who confirmed the fact.
The singer told PEOPLE last month that he’s “happiest [he’s] ever been” about his upcoming baby and that he’s “happiest [he’s] ever been.”
“I’m excited about this next chapter in my life; I’m happier than I’ve ever been, and I’ve been sad for as long as I can remember,” he remarked. “It’s time to look after my body, as well as my family and friends, and to spread as much love as we can every day.”
He also told Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe earlier this month that he’s “really hyped up” about being a father and that he’ll “be a hot dad.”

The happy news comes just days after he announced a tour in support of his recently released album Twelve Carat Toothache, which was released on June 3.
In April, he announced the album’s release date on Twitter, giving a link to h is website and keeping the caption short with “Carat Toothache is a term used to describe a toothache that is worth a 3rd of June”
