He put me on a pedestal that I didn’t think I deserved and showed me that I did. He gives me the courage to be the person and artist I was always meant to be.”

In 2013, Guyton and Savoy, a lawyer from Hawaii, got engaged after going out for three years.

On Valentine’s Day in 2017, Savoy was added to Guyton’s Instagram feed for the first time. Along with a cute picture of her and her boyfriend, Guyton wrote, “I love you more than anything in the world. We’re excited to see what God has planned for us. Happy Valentine’s Day, sweetheart!

Mickey and Savoy got married on June 26 in a small ceremony on a beach at the Kauai Marriott Resort in Kauai, Hawaii, her rep told PEOPLE. Guyton told PEOPLE that having a luau at their wedding reception was important to him because Savoy’s family is from Kauai.

In 2018, both her marriage and her music went through a big change. Two years before June 2020, she and her husband went to marriage counseling, which changed the way she wrote songs.

Guyton wrote on Instagram on August 25, 2020, that she and Savoy were going to have their first child together. Guyton wrote that her life “completely changed in an instant” when she saw two sonograms.
She also said, “I’m excited and scared at the same time.” “I don’t know what I’m doing, but I’m so glad that God chose me to be this baby’s mother.”

At the 2022 Grammy Awards, where Guyton was up for best country solo performance, best country song, and best country album, Savoy was right by his wife’s side on the red carpet. The pair doesn’t show up on the red carpet very often. “I mean, she gives me ideas every day,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “She gave me a baby, so I guess helping her is the least I can do.”
