Sheree Whitfield, one of the stars of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, has been linked with Tyrone Gilliam in an on-again, off-again relationship for several years. Before RHOA, Gilliams was well-known in Philadelphia’s social scene. He played basketball while attending college at the University of Pennsylvania. He quickly rose to prominence at upscale gatherings in the city and the tri-state region after graduating from college. Then, though, something went awry.
The Daily Pennsylvanian reports that Gilliams received a federal jail sentence for wire fraud schemes in which he stole $5 million. In addition to the punishment, he was ordered to repay the $5 million in damages to the accusers.
Whitfield has been upfront about foregoing her romantic life for Gilliams, a decision she might now regret in light of the most recent episode of the show. While traveling to New York with the group, Whitfield told her co-stars that they would get to meet her lover.
