For more than ten years, the stand-up comic and writer and producer Chris Convy have been in an on-and-off relationship. In 2013, when Nikki co-hosted the MTV late-night discussion show Nikki & Sara Live, the two first got to know one another. Chris was a producer on the show.
The two continued to collaborate even while they looked for a romantic partner. Chris created Nikki’s 2016 Comedy Central series, Not Safe with Nikki Glaser, when Nikki & Sara Live ended after two seasons. After one season, the show was cancelled, and Nikki and Chris soon parted ways.

“When we first got the show, I always predicted that it would be canceled eventually. I used to get the “You’re so pessimistic” comment from everyone, but I’m not lying. I was ready to lose it at some point, just as I was ready to lose my partner, even if it might not be the best way to always view things “In a November 2016 interview with Buffalo News, Nikki revealed. “Both relationships and TV shows typically don’t last. When those items explode, it lessens the impact.”
Although Nikki and Chris’s personal relationship didn’t work out the first time, by the time filming for Welcome Home Nikki Glaser? began, they were back together.
During the pandemic, Chris made the same decision Nikki did to return to St. Louis, which is also his hometown.
Nikki and Chris admitted they were more than just friends in the second episode of the E! series, which aired on May 2. They also said they weren’t exclusively dating. Nikki said that she planned to continue using dating apps and wished Chris would do the same.

Nikki continued by saying that if Chris was unable to provide her the stability she required, she would leave St. Louis and go back to Los Angeles.
