The seventh season of Chicago Med ended on a tense note. There were big changes for the characters, and two of them, Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) and Dr. Dylan Scott (Guy Lockard), were put in dangerous situations. Getting stuck in a building that’s on fire isn’t the best way to spend a break.
We, of course, can’t wait to find out what happens. Will the two doctors get out of the situation alive? Will Blake (Sarah Rafferty), who lost feeling in her hands, get it back and be able to go back to work at Gaffney, or will she have to retire?

Even though there isn’t yet an official summary for season 8 of Chicago Med, here’s what NBC says about the show:
“Chicago Med” is the third show in the One Chicago series. It is about doctors and nurses who work in the emergency room at Gaffney Chicago Medical Center. People from Chicago P.D. and Fire often hang out in the emergency room, so you never know who you might see there. Doctors in Chicago don’t have much time to be bored, and fans of One Chicago are interested in the personal lives of the Chicago Med doctors and residents.
Fans are hooked on the NBC show because of characters like supervising attending physician Dr. Will Halstead (Nick Gehlfuss) and nurse Maggie Lockwood (Marlyne Barrett). The staff at the Gaffney Chicago Medical Center never knows what will happen next. Each episode brings a new set of problems for the characters to deal with. Fans of Chicago Med can’t wait for the show to return to NBC this fall. This is because the city is always in need of help.

Cast Of Chicago Med Season 8
In the last few seasons, Med has had a lot of new players. Fans had to say goodbye to Natalie Manning (Torrey DeVitto) and April Sexton (Yaya DaCosta), and then to Dr. Stevie Hammer (Kristen Hager), who was brought in to fill the gap but left because she was pregnant.
The good news is that Sasha Roiz and Lilah Richcreek will join the cast of Med in season 8. The first one will play Jack Egan, and the second one will play Nellie Cuevas.
