Dr. Phil, or Phillip Calvin McGraw, is an American television personality, author, and host of the Dr. Phil television show. He has a degree in clinical psychology, however his license to practice psychology expired in 2006.
McGraw shot to stardom in the late 1990s after appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show. McGraw’s own program, Dr. Phil, was launched in September 2002 with the support of Oprah Winfrey.
Dr. Phil’s marriage has been the subject of much conjecture, in addition to his controversial remarks about providing certain people a voice on his show and his views on the coronavirus outbreak.

“She believed it that day, and it’s something we take very seriously. That’s why I just shake my head at these crazy tabloids—we’re not getting a divorce, and the fact that they’re so obsessed with something that is so central to our family is just amazing to me,” he said.
In September 2019, Dr. Phil talked on his show again about the rumors that he and Robin were getting a divorce.
He said that photos and headlines on different websites about him and Robin getting a divorce were being used by scammers to get people to click. When they did that, they could be taken advantage of.
“There are a lot of fake divorce stories going around right now, and we need to warn people about them. They are not just utterly false… The real problem is that they are being used to trick people “on the show, he said.

About Dr. Phil’s Ex-Wife
Even though Dr. Phil has been married to Robin for more than 44 years, he has been married before. He married Debbie Higgins McCall when he was 20 years old, in 1970. Their marriage was rocky, and Debbie later said that Dr. Phil put pressure on her to stop working and that he had a certain idea of how he wanted her to look. She also said that he had been cheating on her while they were married.
