Who Is Judy Tenuta’s Husband? Comedian Dies At 72!

On Thursday, Judy Tenuta passed away. She was a  stand-up comedian who called herself the “Love Goddess.” In the 1980s, when comedy was at its best, she toured with George Carlin. She became 72.

Roger Neal, a publicist for the Associated Press, said that Tenuta died at home in Los Angeles on Thursday afternoon, surrounded by her family. Ovarian cancer was what killed her.

Neal said, “She was a lot of fun to be around because she was funny and a great performer.”

Neal said that Tenuta told him she was born on November 7, 1965, but she was actually born in 1949. “She was old-fashioned, so she never said how old she really was, but now that she’s gone, we can find out,” he said.

Her heart-shaped face and puffed-up hair with a flower on top made her look sweet and innocent, but her loud, gravelly voice and sarcastic humor, which included swear words, quickly ruined this impression. As part of her act, she played the accordion. She put it in a sweet way when she said it was “an instrument of love and submission.”
