“Even though I was scared, I did what the doctors told me to do and went in for my 3-month skin check last week. They said I had another strange spot close to the last one, so they took a sample of it to test. I heard the news this morning: Stage 2 melanoma,” she wrote on Instagram.
The mother of four then said that she would see an oncologist next week to get the spots removed, and that they would come up with a plan after more tests and biopsies were done on other spots that had already been removed by a dermatologist.
“The moral of this story is that you should go to the doctor every three months if he or she says so. I wanted to just ignore it. “What could happen in 3 months?” I asked myself. “It looks like a lot,” she wrote.
