After an exciting season, America’s Got Talent is over. We finally have a winner. The grand finale of Season 17 took place over two nights, and the top 11 contestants blew the judges’ and viewers’ minds.
The show’s host, Terry Crews, and the judges, Simon Cowell, Sofia Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel, all had their favorites, but in the end, there could only be one winner. There were dancers, singers, acrobats, magicians, and so much more on the show that started on May 31, 2022.

Winfield, dancer Kristy Sellars, and dance group The Mayyas—had a tough competition.

The Mayyas, an all-female dance group, got the most votes from the public and beat the other 10 finalists to win $1 million and the chance to be the main act at a Las Vegas show.
Who are The Mayyas?
The 36 Lebanese women in the Mayyas dance group are all different ages. The name of the band comes from an Arabic word that means “a lioness’s proud walk.” The group wants to get the message out that women should have more power.

The women in the group had a hard time getting good jobs in Lebanon. They needed a bigger stage, and America’s Got Talent gave them that.
After celebrating the win on stage, a member of the group told Arab News, “We can’t believe this is happening.” “Getting to this point took a lot of hard work. We quit our jobs, schools, and colleges to train every day so we could be here and win for our name and for Lebanon. We accomplished our goals.”
America’s Got Talent Season 17 1st Runner-Up: Kristy Sellars
Kristy Sellars is well known as a pole dancer, reality TV star, social media influencer, content creator, and businesswoman. She is from Victoria, Australia. She was born on May 28, 1986, so she is now 36 years old.
Kristy is famous all over Australia because she won Season 9 of Australia’s Got Talent (2019). Sellars has also been in a number of other contests for talented people.
She was also named Miss Pole Dance Victoria in 2012. On her LinkedIn profile, Kristy says that she started PhysiPole Studios and is in charge of franchises.

America’s Got Talent Season 17 2nd Runner-Up: Drake Milligan
Drake Milligan moved from Fort Worth to Nashville and didn’t know much about country music when he got here. He didn’t just come here to sing, though. He went there to listen.
Milligan is an American singer and actor who is best known for playing Elvis Presley on the CMT show Sun Records and for recent appearances on American Idol and America’s Got Talent.
When Milligan was 19, he knew a lot about the history of country music. He sat in on co-writes and recording sessions, where songwriters taught him how to tell a story and legendary producers showed him how to use the mics and studio to make his voice heard. He just put out his first album, called Dallas/Fort Worth.
