Early Life
On March 24, 1965, Mark William Calaway was born in Houston, Texas. He is the youngest son of five. He participated in basketball and football at Waltrip High School. He went to Angelina College, which is located 115 miles northeast of Houston in Lufkin, Texas. In 1983, he attended college on a basketball scholarship. In order to play basketball and major in sports management, he transferred to Texas Wesleyan University in 1985. In 1986, he dropped out of college and briefly explored playing professional basketball in Europe, but in the end, he opted to devote himself to wrestling.
Career
On June 26, 1987, Calaway made his professional wrestling debut for the World Class Championship Wrestling as Texas Red. When Calaway joined the Continental Wrestling Association in 1988, he competed as The Master of Pain and The Punisher, among other wrestlers. He signed with World Championship Wrestling in 1989 under the moniker “Mean Mark Callous,” but when he joined the WWE in 1990, he adopted the ring name “The Undertaker.” One of the most well-known wrestling personas is The Undertaker. The Undertaker’s “The Streak,” a run of 21 victories in a row at WWE’s “WrestleMania,” is what made him most famous. His overall record at “WrestleMania” is 25-2.

During his first marriage, which lasted from 1989 to 1999, Calaway gave birth to a son in 1993. In 2000, Sara, Calaway’s second wife, was married. In a conflict between Calaway and Diamond Dallas Page in 2001, Sara made television appearances with the WWE, where she was identified as Calaway’s wife. Before divorcing in 2007, the couple had two daughters together. His union with former wrestler Michelle McCool began in 2010, and their first child was born in 2012.
