Sabrina Elaine Ionescu, an American professional basketball player for the New York Liberty of the Women’s National Basketball Association, was born on December 6, 1997. She represented the Oregon Ducks in collegiate basketball. She is the only NCAA Division I basketball player to have recorded 2,000 points, 1,000 assists, and 1,000 rebounds in a career.
Ionescu is dating Hroniss Grasu, a football player who used to play for Oregon and now plays for the Las Vegas Raiders.
The age difference between the sports pair is roughly six or seven years, with Sabrina turning 24 in December, and Hroniss having just turned 30 on August 12. She recounts the incident when Sabrina wasn’t even invited to the U-16 program because the women’s game wasn’t developed enough and had too many restrictions. But when it came time for the trials, she did an outstanding job and was immediately added to the team. With that U-16 team, she later took home a gold medal at the FIBA Americas tournament. Soon after, she joined the USA Basketball team and helped them win the 2014 FIBA U17 World Cup. At the 2019 Pan-American Games, she also won the 33 gold medal.
