The American mystery-comedy television series Only Murders in the Building was developed by Steve Martin and John Hoffman for streaming. On August 31, 2021, Hulu’s ten-episode first season made its debut. Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez play three strangers in the story, which centres on their shared obsession with a real crime podcast. After the shocking cliffhanger at the end of season 1, Charles, Oliver, and Mabel of the podcast find themselves at the centre of yet another investigation after the murder of Bunny Folger, the board president of the Arconia.

When the group learns that Cinda Canning has launched her own podcast on the case, they initially concur, but quickly change their minds in order to clear their names.
A priceless painting is discovered to be missing during a search of Bunny’s apartment; it later turns up in Charles’s flat, prompting the gang to rush to give it back, only for it to vanish once more.
In season 2, there are a few new faces at the Arconia, including Amy Schumer, who plays herself and intends to convert the gang’s escapades into their own TV series, and Cara Delevigne’s Alice, an art aficionado who immediately warms up to Mabel.
