The American drama TV show Animal Kingdom was made by Jonathan Lisco. It is based on the Australian movie with the same name that David Michôd and Liz Watts made in 2010. Michôd is the executive producer for the series, and Watts also produced the movie. In the first four seasons, Ellen Barkin played the main character, Janine “Smurf” Cody, who was played by Jacki Weaver in the 2010 movie.
On June 14, 2016, Animal Kingdom made its debut on TNT. In July of 2019, TNT decided to give the show a fifth season, which started on July 11, 2021. Before the fifth season started in January 2021, TNT picked up the show for a sixth and final season that released on June 19, 2022.

Animal Kingdom Season 6 Storyline
Animal Kingdom’s fifth season ended on a dramatic cliffhanger when the police (eventually) found the body of Catherine Blackwell, performed by Daniella Alonso and married to Baz, Smurf’s adopted son.
In Season 1, Pope (Shawn Hatosy) killed Cath because Smurf thought she might tell the feds something. Pope’s struggle with guilt over Cath’s death has been an important part of his character arc.
No one else knows about the murder now that Baz and Smurf are dead. This new discovery is sure to lead to unexpected drama and danger.
The murder of Cath could be a piece of the puzzle that the police use to bring down the Cody clan in Oceanside.
There’s also the matter of choosing the “kingdom’s” monarch. After Smurf died, J and Deran had trouble running the family and doing illegal things, while Craig went back to using drugs and had trouble taking care of Renn (Christina Ochoa) and their young son.
When longtime Smurf friend Pam (Charlayne Woodard) showed up in Season 5 with a lawsuit against Smurf’s estate, the guys weren’t happy about it.
Pam and her family will probably show up again in Season 6, either in the present or in flashbacks.

In Canada, the show airs on CTV Drama Channel, which used to be called Bravo. All seasons are available on Netflix and Crave. Starting with the fourth season, the episodes were shown on Bravo at the same time and day as they were originally shown on TNT. The program airs on Z in French.
Since February 8, 2018, Warner TV in France has been showing the series.
The series are available on StarzPlay and HBO Max in Brazil.
