Dark Winds’ official Season 2 release date has not yet been set, but according to Deadline, AMC has approved a second, six-episode season that will air sometime in 2019. The show’s 2.2 million-plus viewers for its June 12 premiere, which made it the “No. 5 cable drama premiere of the current season…[and] the No. 1 new series launch in AMC+ history,” led to the renewal.
